Any donation to B'nai Tikvah is appreciated greatly. You can make a general donation and the funds will be used as needed and acknowleged as you wish, or you can donate to any of the special funds listed below. You can also contact us about opportunities to donate through advertising in our newsletter, our annual community directory or about sponsoring a special program.
Consider making donations for any occasion or no occasion at all.

Unless noted under the fund checks can be made out to Congregation B’nai Tikvah and the fund noted on the check or with the enclosed note. Please specify if you would like an acknowledgment sent to a person or family and their mailing address if they are not members of B’nai Tikvah.
B’nai Tikvah Special Funds
Capital Campaign Fund benefits the building and maintaining of our new building and renovations to our existing building.
Library/Resource Center Fund helps to purchase materials for our lending library and special resources from our school.
Elaine Zucker Memorial Fund This special fund administered by Congregation B’nai Tikvah provides scholarship money for our children who continue their education at Midrashah Hebrew High School in Cherry Hill. You may send a donation in honor of any occasion or in memory of a friend or loved one. Checks should be made out to the Elaine Zucker Scholarship.
Torah Fund allows us to maintain our Torah Scrolls and keep them “kosher”, therefore usable.
Hebrew School Fund donations to the Hebrew School help fund special programs for our students or buy educational materials.
Rabbis' Discretionary Fund Contributions to this synagogue fund are used, solely at the discretion of the rabbis, to assist individual, educational and communal needs in a manner consistent with the synagogue's charitable tax-exempt status. The fund has been used to provide support to people in need, to contribute toward social action work, and to support synagogue needs that are otherwise going unmet. This fund will never be used to personally benefit a rabbi or his/her family members. Checks should be made to the Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund.
Donation Cards
Donation Cards may be sent for a variety of occasions including Get Well, Anniversary, Condolence, Bar or Bat Mitzvah, Birthday Greetings, High School or College Graduation, New Home, New Job, etc. The cards are engraved with the B'nai Tikvah logo on the front. On the inside it states that a donation has been made to the synagogue with a space to indicate the donor and the occasion. The minimum donation is $4.00 per card and includes the cost of mailing plus a listing in the following month's Shofar (newsletter).
Tree Of Life
Our “Tree of Life”, is located on the front wall of the sanctuary to the right of the Bimah. Engraved leaves cost $54.00 each and are a wonderful way to commemorate special occasions such as a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, wedding, anniversary, confirmation, college graduation, birth of a child or grandchild or to honor a special person, such as a beloved teacher. Call or e-mail the donation chairperson to discuss wording and the number of characters that will fit on the leaf.
Bibles and Prayer Books
You can make a donation of a Bible or prayer book in honor or memory of someone to whom you would like to pay tribute. A special book plate will be made up for the book, and a card acknowledging your donation will be sent to the person or family of the person being honored.Donations are a minimum of:

Memorial Tablets
You can pay lasting tribute to those who touched your life in a significant way but are now departed. Honor your loved one with an engraved Yahrzeit plaque to be displayed on one of the boards in the front section of the Sanctuary. The cost is $150.00.
